THE RIDGE WE CAME UP

Through the clouds one can see the ridge that the Hawaii Loa Trail follows.  In this picture it is the smaller ridge on the left.  On the hill just above the ridge is the Hawaii Loa subdivision.

WAIKIKI FROM ON HIGH

Just to the north of Diamond Head one can see the buildings of Waikiki.  As you can see it is quite sunny while the summit continues to be socked in.

A BETTER VIEW OF THE HAWAII LOA RIDGE

I grabbed another picture as the clouds rose slightly to allow a better view of the ridge below.  The Hawaii Loa subdivision is on top of the hill in the center of the photograph.

KOKO HEAD AND KOKO CRATER IN THE CLOUDY WEATHER

This is a nice view of Hawaii Kai with Koko Crater behind it.  Koko Head is on the far right with Haunama Bay in between Koko Head and Koko Crater.  Port Loch is the subdivision directly below Koko Head.
