THE STAIRS

The steepest part of the climb has stairs.  When the trail is dry they are more a nuisance than a help because most of the dirt was washed away from behind the stairs making the stairs more like little hurdles.  When it is wet however they allow one to go up the trail without having to use rope.

Another view of the stairs as they head up to the summit.  This area is the most tiring of the entire hike. But the reward is worth the effort.  Take your time and enjoy the scenery.
