THE STEEP ROCK FACE

This is the part of the trail which can be dangerous.  You must climb this rock face and then maneuver a narrow ridge with boulders before reaching the top.  Beware it is more scary coming down because you can't see where to put your feet.

Check all ropes before using them.  You can't afford a rope to give out on you when you are climbing up.  It is easier if you have someone with you to help in negotiating up the rock face.
