END OF THE TRAIL The trail officially ends under the shade of a Hala Tree. You can continue on a small trail which heads down toward H-3 which can seen in the photograph. It turns into a small jeep road which goes under the H-3 and ends up at the Hoomaluhia Botanical Gardens. The jagged peak in the right center of the picture is Olomana.

VIEW OF THE LIGHTS ON THE LIKELIKE FREEWAY Near the center of the picture one can see the lights on the Likelike Highway. The Likelike highway goes through the Koolau Mountains at this point via the Wilson Tunnel. The road on the right side of the picture is the H-3 freeway.

THE H-3 FREEWAY WINDS ITS WAY TO THE KANEOHE MARINE BASE A view of the H-3 freeways as it winds its way through the windward side of the island. The H-3 freeway runs from Pearl Harbor to the Kaneohe Marine Base.
