LOOKING UP AT THE PALI HIGHWAY Once you get under the Pali Highway you once again come upon the old pavement from the Old Pali Highway. Continue to follow the pavement down hill. As you follow the Old Pali Highway you can look up and see the Pali Highway above. One can also see two notches in the ridge which were cut by early Hawaiians.

LOOKING ABOVE AT THE OVERLOOK The trail started at the overlook which is located at the bottom of the saddle in the ridge. One can also see the spectacular peak which towers over the overlook.

THE OLD PALI HIGHWAY This is a view of the Old Pali Highway. No longer used the highway is gradually being eroded away and overcome with vegetation.
