OLD STONE ROAD

Once the trail descends the ridge it turns into a grassy stone road.  When one reaches a small junction veer left off the stone road onto a small trail.  If you continue on the stone road it will lead to Kionaole Road.

THE JUNCTION

This is the small trail which veers off to the left of the stone road.  This area can be very confusing because there are many trails and roads in the area.  You will know if you are on the right trail because after a few minutes of hiking down the trail you will hear the sound of water running in a stream.
